Our Language School

Our language school in Ecuador is situated in the center of the modern part of Quito . From the brightly lit and spacious classrooms you have a great view over the entire city. The beautiful building provides a perfect environment to learn Spanish. You may also take your Spanish lectures on one of the three sun decks attached to the building.

The school is surrounded by a gorgeous tropical garden, where you can relax after school or during the breaks. Cool drinks, tea and coffee are offered for free. After class you are welcome to stay in the classrooms to socialize and get to know the other students or study your new Spanish skills. You can also use the great hall of the school, where some of the after-school activities take place.

To apply for a language course in Ecuador you need to be at least 18 years old.

Our teachers

Our motivated staff is very experienced with students who are learning Spanish abroad. On a regular basis they participate in skill enhancement training in Ecuador , so you can benefit from a highly qualified staff. The educational material used by our teachers is especially designed for students studying Spanish as a foreign language. Therefore, studying Spanish in Quito with Academia Columbus will be a huge success.

The Spanish classes in our language school start in the morning and usually take place from 8:30 am to 1 pm. During the break, which takes place from 10:30 am to 11 am you can take a relaxing sun bath on the deck.

Lunch break is from 1 pm to 2 pm. All students that have booked the intensive course, will have additional classes in the afternoon, taking place from 2 pm to 4 pm. After courses you can enjoy your free time and discover the city and Ecuador.

In the evening, you are welcome to participate in our after school leisure and cultural activities.
